In an interview with ABRA, Jennifer talks about her beginnings, her motivation, and her plans for the future.
BEYOND THE STAGE
Jennifer, when did you discover your passion for modeling and how did it all begin? Even as a child, I loved being in front of the camera – back then, I had no idea it would one day become a serious dream. But the older I got, the clearer it became: Modeling is more than a hobby, it's my calling. This passion has stayed with me to this day and makes me blossom at every shoot and on every runway.
What does modeling mean to you today? It's an essential part of my life. Even though I work full-time in an office, I use every free minute for photoshoots or shows. Modeling isn't a weekend hobby for me; it's my great passion—and the driving force behind everything I do.
Is there a moment in your career so far that stands out in your memory? Absolutely: My first fashion show in Paris. That experience was a turning point—the moment I felt that my dreams were real and achievable. Standing on that runway was like a
You've already participated in several shows – how many are there now? To date, I've done ten fashion shows, and each one has helped me grow – as a model and as a person.
What is your biggest career goal? My biggest dream is to one day walk for Victoria's Secret. I'm working towards it with complete dedication and firmly believe that determination and passion open doors.
How do you combine your office job with your modeling career? With a lot of planning, discipline, and passion. It's incredibly fulfilling to know that I'm realizing my dream step by step because I'm giving it my all – even if that means being in front of the camera every weekend.
You mentioned that acting is also something you'd consider. What appeals to you about it? I'm fascinated by expressing my emotions in front of the camera and conveying stories. If the opportunity arises, I'd be ready to explore this path – the creative world is simply in my blood.
What qualities make you stand out as a model? Besides professionalism and discipline, it's my openness, adaptability, and authentic nature. I love working with different teams and immersing myself in new projects.
Your look is very unique – what makes it so special? I'm half Swiss and half Filipino, and this mix gives me a special, multifaceted aesthetic. Many people say my freckles make my look even more distinctive – they're quite rare for an Asian woman, and that's exactly what I love about them.
Where do you currently live and how flexible are you with projects? I live in Switzerland, but I'm available to work anywhere in the world – for me, fashion knows no boundaries.
What motivates you to work on your dream every day? The deep desire to turn my hobby into my profession. I'm not just a dreamer—I'm a doer, someone who's willing to work for success. This vision gets me out of bed every morning with a goal in mind.
