Behind the label is Keyla Villegas, a visionary Colombian-born founder whose deep-rooted love for Latin American heritage and academic background in international trade & sustainable development gave birth to a new kind of fashion philosophy. “We don’t just create fashion — we cultivate legacy,” Keyla explains. “We honor the artisans, the stories, the hands behind the elegance.”

Keyla Villegas

Born in Colombia and based in Zurich, Keyla Villegas is the founder and creative force behind Anashi Handmade. With a Master’s degree in International Trade and Sustainable Development, her journey merges academic insight with personal purpose.

Keyla launched Anashi to honor her Latin American roots, spotlighting the artistic brilliance of indigenous women artisans — many of whom have passed down their techniques through generations. What began as a cultural tribute has evolved into a global sustainable luxury brand.

Driven by a passion for education, ethical business, and social impact, Keyla works hands-on with artisan communities across Colombia, helping them preserve their craft while growing their independence and income.
